What is POS/ mPOS?
POS - Point of Sale
A POS, is a broad term referring to the entire solution
A product database is stored in the register which is attached to a computer and an on-site server.
The computer and the server store transaction details electronically.
mPOS - Mobile Point of Sale
These modern mobile solutions are built for tablet use instead of
desktop computers.
Usually, mPOS systems are linked to traditional transaction peripherals,
including credit card machines, receipt printers, or scanners.
It’s cloud technology that has empowered mPOS capacities.
On the hardware end of things, mPOS machines can be run on tablets, allowing users to process a transaction from anywhere on the floor or to open a new lane/terminal quickly.
mPOS software means that users can access their store’s data from any internet-connected device from any location.

Security
A secure mPOS is PCI compliant, lets you take encrypted payments like chip cards and NFC payments.
Simplicity

Revamping the player design
Replace the total time displayed at the end of seek bar with the time
remaining time
Remove the UI buttons to Rewind and Forward since the same functionality is achieved by special buttons available on the remote and left and right arrows
on the D-pad.
Allow users to scrub content at various speeds 1x, 2x, 3x
Remove the iText from the player control bar to make it lighter
The current way of displaying callouts is not scalable to accommodate more languages and options. Provide a right panel for more settings and options.
Allow users to view a preview when they trigger Rewind and Forward actions.
A user can have a broader view of the content being scrubbed by using
multiple keyframes.
Introduce the Play From Beginning button and Next Episodes UI Button on Player.
TV Remote Control Behaviour
Using the Up and Down arrows on the TV remote control will allow the user to view the player controls, and multiple presses will navigate between the controls
Using the Right and Left arrows will allow the user to respectively Forward and Rewind the video content by 10 sec
The auto scrubbing will start when the Right arrow and Left arrow are long-pressed and the speed will be controlled by the same arrows

The complete freedom of choosing the payment method needs to be given to the customers. They can make the payments through Cash, Cards, Online Wallets, UPI, Khata, BQR, and Cheques
Product Catalog
Merchants should easily add and change the item details like price, name, or quantity
in real time. Upload groups of items faster and publish the catalogs on app & social media & sell online.
Customers’ Profile
All the merchants should
be able to create, edit and
manage their customers’ profiles. Merchants should be able to track their customers’ activity in realtime, see and manage customers’ personal information.
Employee Management
All merchants should be able to add and edit their employees details. Manage their leaves, payrolls. Rate their performance and attendance everyday through the application.
Business Analysis
Merchants should be able to analyze their complete business with real time data. They should know how are their sales doing with respect to the time.

Merchants should be able
to manage the received
online orders & keep track of deliveries. Also, they should be able to track payments & add delivery Charges & include GST for orders.
